HEBUT:
    • The Hebei University of Technology (HEBUT), member of  “Project 211” and “Double First-rate Program”, is a multi-disciplinary university with distinctive research strengths in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering.
    • After decades of development, the School of Civil and Transportation Engineering at HEBUT has played important roles in undergraduate and graduate education, scientific research and technology innovation in the fields of civil and transportation engineering in China. 
    • Smart Infrastructure Research Institute (SIRI) was recently established in July 2017, spearheaded by renowned researchers. As one of the research-led institutes at HEBUT, SIRI is actively engaged in the extensive researches among advanced construction technology, innovative construction material, intelligent disaster mitigation and prevention, smart modeling and simulation, smart urban planning. 
    • SIRI is also committed to excellence in consultant and services for the infrastructure development in China,  particularly in Xiong’an New Area.
 
IACIP:
    • The International Association of Chinese Infrastructure Professionals (IACIP) is a US registered non-profit professional organization with its members working or studying in the fields of Civil Infrastructure and Systems (CIS) and related areas who are interested in CIS development and related issues.
     • IACIP was founded in Washington DC in January 2010, which aims at 
      (1) Disseminating the most recent advance in the area of Civil Infrastructures and Systems.
      (2) Establishing and maintaining the collaboration.
      (3) Promoting the reputation of Chinese scholars.
      (4) Providing mentorship for young professionals. IACIP welcomes dedicated professionals to become its members.
    • The first and second International Conferences on Transportation Infrastructure and Materials (ICTIM) were held in Xi’an in 2016 and Qingdao in 2017, respectively. The third ICTIM will be held in Tianjin, China from June 1 to 4, 2018, which is jointly organized by HEBUT and IACIP. The third ICTIM will cover a broad range of topics related to transportation infrastructure and materials.
 
Venue
    Tianjin is a municipality direct under the China Central Government, one of the most prosperous business areas as well as a distribution center in North China. Tianjin is a famous historical city and has a lot of the best known scenic spots and historical sites.
